Which simulation environments do the models run in?

Batemo Cell Models have built-in integration for MATLAB Simulink, MATLAB Simscape, Simcenter Amesim, AVL CRUISE M, AVL FIRE M, Elements and Hexagon Cradle CFD, and as an FMU they run in all common simulation tools.

How do I know a model is accurate enough for my decision?

Every model is validated against experiments covering the cell’s full operating area — including measurements in the interpolation and extrapolation regime. For every model we provide Excel reports that show its accuracy under the validation conditions in detail. With these reports you can check how accurate the model is under which conditions, and how confident you can be in its predictions.

Which cells are already in the library?

The Batemo Cell Explorer lists every cell that Batemo measured, with its specific energy and peak power. Each cell also has its own page with capacity, current, power, energy density, format and mass, its measured discharge curves and the accuracy of its model.

The cell I need is not in the library. Now what?

There are two ways. Let us know which cell you need, and we will work out together how to get it into the library as quickly as possible. This is usually no problem; the only condition is that the cell has a certain market relevance. If the cell has to stay confidential, that is no problem either: we measure and parameterize your cell and build the model exclusively for you. Nothing about that cell enters the public library.
